So, I find myself a manager. I asked for this; it’s my own fault. I’m not sure I knew what I was getting into. I’m not any good but I’m trying. Below is a list of resources that I think have some good advice.

Observations can be recorded with a video camera.

Asking a question often prompts the other person to find creative, new ways to address the impact of this behavior, without you having to make a request.
